Love or Die Trying

Two lovers take their life, for they rather die than be without the other. The two lovers kept a secret marriage. The cause of the secret marriage simply is of a grudge. Montague and Capulet have held this grudge as long as anyone can remember. The grudge stormed the streets of Verona when Montague and Capulet met. They always broke into brawls when members of the households saw each other. Their hatred led to the death of a member from the Montague family and a member from the Capulet family. Romeo Montague was the first to take his life away. Then Juliet Capulet, as she was waking up saw Romeo dead; she decided to take her life away.

Romeo Montague: a quick-witted, romantic, male. Romeo is around the age of 17. Romeo was associated with Benvolio, Mercutio, Balthasar, and Tybalt. Benvolio thinks that Romeo can get any lady, Romeo lays his eyes upon. Mercutio thinks of Romeo as a little boy, who is weak and is not “man” enough to fight. To Tybalt, Romeo was a little a pest that got in the way. Romeo is enthusiastic. Romeo never gives up on something he wants. He is known to drown his broken heart in tears.

Juliet Montague: a beautiful, young 12 year-old girl. Juliet was associated with Nurse, Lady Capulet and Capulet. The Nurse thought of Juliet as a girl who was ambitious and never gave up. Capulet and Lady Capulet thought that Juliet was a rebellious girl that would ruin her life if she married Romeo. Capulet wanted Juliet to marry Paris, a man with many material possessions. Juliet did not want to marry Paris because her heart belonged to Romeo. Her rebellious actions caused her to take drastic measures. For example, drinking a potion to fake her death and thus being able to runaway with Romeo. Juliet was engaged to Paris (someone that could’ve provided for her), but chose to be with a young man that had no way to support her.

This is what Lord Montague had to say about the tragic deaths of Romeo and Juliet, “It is such a tragedy to lose a man of my son’s stature. I can’t believe that he would take such measures. I just… [crying] I just can’t believe it. I would have never thought he would take his life away for a girl he has only known for a few days. This is all Capulet’s daughter’s fault. What a goose! She poisoned his mind…” Lord Montague goes on about how much he wishes Romeo were here. Lord Capulet also had a few words to say. “My daughter is lost because of Romeo. She chose to runaway with the ‘love of her life’ and it got her dead. She chose to runaway with someone that will not be able to provide for her. Let this tragic death be a lesson for others.”

The deaths of these two “star-crossed” lovers were not ignored. The Prince exiled the two households for causing too much trouble in Verona streets. The Prince held Lady Capulet and the messenger on the donkey. The reason for blaming Lady Capulet is, she caused an emotional distress in Juliet's mind, which caused her to take drastic measures. The messenger boy was put on trial because he did not give Romeo the letter the friar wrote in time. This caused Romeo to know nothing of the plan between the friar and Juliet. Romeo took his own life because he thought Juliet had really died.

"Mercy" Killing

1. Reflecting Of Mice and Men

a.) In the book Of Mice and Men, the character George shoots what could be called his "best friend" in the head ending his life. The reasons for his action was one, he did not want his best friend to fall into the hands of Curley. If Curley were to catch up with Lennie before George did, Curley would've tortured Lennie and then kill him. Also George was realizing that Lennie was too much trouble. When they ran away from Weed it was because Lennie was just feeling a lady's; he got so into it that the lady took it the wrong way and had men chase after them. The same thing happened with the the place they were currently working at.

b.) In my opinion I think that ending Lennie's life that way was not the best thing for him. I think this because everyone has the right to make a living for him or herself no matter what the mental capacity. Lennie wasn't "bright" but he still was a good worker, sure he might of not been an influence in society but you never know. If he was probably held by a tighter leash he might of still been alive.

2. Father in Italy Accused of Murder

a.) "Late last year, 67-year-old Beppino Englaro, won an intense 10-year legal battle to allow his daughter's feeding tubes to be removed, saying that was her wish. The court accepted that before the accident, his daughter had expressed a preference for dying over being kept alive artificially." The father decided to end his daughter's life because of a death wish she had wrote. He felt like he had to respect his daughter's wishes. He probably also thought how painful it would living like a vegetable.

b.) "...his daughter had expressed a preference for dying over being kept alive artificially." In my opinion I think that her father's decision was the best thing for her. This is because she knew she would of stayed a 'vegetable' and did not want to live that type of life. There really that could be done for her.

c.) I agree with what the father did because if my daughter or son told me that he or she would rather die than live a life of a "vegetable" I would perform euthanasia on them. IF there any other way I could keep he or she alive, and he or she can live a "normal" life like "normal" people I wouldn't perform euthanasia.

3. Father kills wife and five children

a.) The father of this article killed his wife and his five children. There are many reasons for the father to do this. One, is that he in his mind was already set that he and his wife were already going to commit suicide leaving his children in the hands of others. He did not want this because his children were going to grow up knowing that their parents committed suicide. Also people would have thought that their children came from a crazy family and would not want his children anymore. He paranoid about not getting a another job because he has a family that includes a wife and five children.

b.) The parents can keep telling their children at a younger age, " Go to school, go to school..." because it has been proven scientifically that when a child is at a younger age and is told this advice, the child is more proned to go to school and go to an university. For teenage problems, the parents should really sit down and talk to their teens and listen to what their kids have to say or else it will cause a mental distortion in the mind. Later in life the kid will more likely take extreme actions like the father that killed his wife and five kids.

"Lord Of The FX" (part VIII)

I would not keep the title the same instead I would change it to "Lord Of The FX."

"Lord Of The FX" (part VII)

7a.
7b. This is skull island. Whart I would change about the story is that the beastie things are real and Roger(Ken/Jason) will not kill Piggy with a boulder but rather actually slice his head off with a machete. Instead of putting a boar's head on the stick it will be Piggy's head on the stick. Also Piggy will not have spectacles but will have a box with matches.

"Lord Of The FX" (part VI)

6. These are different versions of the beasts.

"Lord Of The FX" (part V)

5a.
5b. I chose Ken Zinger (a.k.a. "Jason Voorhees") to play as Roger because Roger became a killer and Jason is a killer. Roger became a savage for killing Piggy for no reason and Jason is a savage when killing people.(Ken does not actually kill people). Roger a symbolic character to represent death. Jason is sort of like that in the movies he comes out in.

"Lord Of Thw FX:" (part IV)

4a.

4b. This person is Ralph Wiggum. I chose him to play the role of Simon because he is a wanderer. Simon is also a wanderer in Lord of the Flies. Also Simon dies toward the end and Ralph sometimes dies too in "The Simpsons". Ralph also hallucinates sometimes and thinks a leprechaun is talking to him. In LOTF Simon thinks that the pig head on a stick is talking to him.

"Lord Of The FX" (part III)

3a.
3b. This person is Martin Prince. I chose him to play Piggy because he is an intellectual character in "The Simpsons". Piggy is also an intellectual character in Lord of the Flies. Also he has the physical traits of Piggy. In "The Simpsons" nobody pays attention to him like nobody pays attention to Piggy. Martin is also picked by everybody and so was Piggy. Piggy's characteris also kind of a wimp and Martin Prince is also a wimp.

"Lord Of The FX" (part II)

2b. This is Famke Janssen. I chose her to play the role of Jack because in the movie "X-MenIII" she played as person that was good then turned bad, sort of like Jack did in Lord of the Flies. She was able to play that role great so I think she will have no problem here. She also has that rebelious look like Jack's charaacter is described. She also became powerful when she turned bad also Jack became powerful when was able to obtain a tribe. She is also aen excellent actor.

"Lord Of The FX"

1a.
1b. This person is Hugh Jackman. I chose him to play the role of Ralph because he has experience in leadership. He played the lead role in "Van Helsing" as Van Helsing. He would make a good leader. Also in the "X-Men" series, he plays the role of Wolverine where he also has to show his leadership skills and is pretty good at running away. He also makes a good arguer in the "X-Men" series. He can also strongly fight for what he believes in.

Hiroshima

1) In this picture, before the bombing of Hiroshima, I see a beautiful, peaceful, tall tree in the center. From the picture you can see what seems like a moving transportation vehicle in the background. You can also see that there are bushes surrounding the tree with such gracefulness. There are also some buildings in the background. They seem in good condition from what I see.
If I knew if this was a park, then I would say as if it was one those that a lot of seem to say, "Today is a nice day to go to the park."

2nd Assignment: Abortion...Pro-life

1. My stance on abortion is that a I am against it, in other words I am pro-life. I believe that abortion is an "easy way out" for sexualy active partners, no matter the age that they have. When a person, or couple, decide/consider getting an abortion they are considering to kill a living thing. Abortions can later lead to futuristic problems in a women's reproductive systems.
2. (I chose this picture because the side that is pro-life is on the side that Iam typing on.) I believe that a "baby" is still alive when it is inside the mother's womb. "Alive means that this being is growing, developing, maturing, and replacing its own dying cells. It means not being dead."
3. I agree with this statement. I agree with this statement because it is true that the fetus is still developing meaning that it is alive and not dead. When a mother/ women gets an abortion, she is killing a living which can be described as murder. Murdering a living thing is against the law is against the law( even killing certain animals is against the law.)

First Assignment

This picture is about a UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) match between George St. Pierre and Sean Sherk. Pierre (left) defeated Sherk (right) in the second round of the match at two minutes and fifty-three seconds. The message that this picture presents to me is that one good punch can end a match. A match can end soon if one does not guard up good.
This picture reminds of how my brother and me sometimes fight at home(it is not bloody). This one time I punched my brother in his left temple not that hard then he hit me on my right cheek and I was knocked out for like ten seconds. I got up and told him that I was just playing around but he took it seriously. I never thought he would hit like that.
